Committees

Southern Berkshire has a number of Committees. Committees that are mandated by the bylaws include:

Membership

"The Membership Committee [exists] to establish procedures for application for membership, to interview and screen applicants, and to make recommendations regarding acceptance of applicants. The Membership Committee is specifically responsible for the orientation and monitoring of Probationary Members during their probationary period and making recommendations regarding same."

Personnel

"The Personnel Committee shall advise the President on staffing teams and on any other matters regarding personnel which the President may bring before it." The personnel committee consists of team captains from day/night/weekend teams.

Mass Casualty Incident

"The MCI Committee [exists] to oversee the development and implementation of the SBVAS MCI plan and training."
